Praise
Impressively deep colour, dark cherry and ruby, velvety with opaque core, medium intensity. Very good nose, brambly fruit. Sweetish entry, dry with masked tannic finish. Perfect weight (13% alcohol) and attractive flavour. Drink now or keep—say 4–7 years. A good start!—
Impressive deep colour—intense aroma of plums and dark fruits, edge of peppery, spicy fruit. Broad on the palate, sweet and soft with good acidity contributing to balance and a certain elegance. Soft tannins. Impressive overall and doubtless will improve in bottle and glass.

A Super Tuscan profile without a Super Tuscan price. A rising star!

Lots of ripe and almost raisiny fruit. Full-bodied, with soft tannins and a fruity finish. I like it. A new wine from Maremma.

...combines up-front pleasure and structure, firm smooth flavors, polished tannins and a persistent vigorous finish.

Ripe, luscious and smooth as silk.

When one speaks of harmony and balance of visual, olfactory and tasting sensations what comes to mind is an exciting new Tuscan wine—a truly interesting and pleasurable red made of 60% Sangiovese and 40% Merlot: Ananda di Toscana 2001. It is not only a wine I recommend, but also one to keep in my personal wine cellar.

Showing complex aromatics, well-balanced on the palate with good acidity and perfectly mature tannins that are sweet, soft, fat and velvety. Interesting and elegant wine with good structure and body.

I am a great lover of Tuscan wines and Ananda joins the ranks of my favorites. It is the new Tignanello!
